Kaiser Permanente Run, Walk & Roll

In addition to finisher medals awarded for each finisher in the race, there will be specific overall, masters, grand masters, great grand masters, and age group awards for the 5K RUN.  There are several other Corporate Cup Awards detailed below that will be given out as well. 

 

OVERALL AWARDS

The top finishers in the 5K RUN will receive an overall award in the following categories:

• Overall Male and Female (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• Masters (40+) male and female (1st Only)
• Grand Masters (50+) male and female (1st Only)
• Great Grand Masters (60+) male and female (1st Only)
• The fastest PUSH ASSIST TEAM in the 5K ROLL will receive an overall award

 

5K RUN AGE GROUP CATEGORIES

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females in each of the following categories will receive an age group award:

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+*

*if there are runners over the age of 89, an additional age group category will be created for the appropriate 5 year window.

Overall and Age Group awards must be picked up at the event.  When registering, you can elect to have your results sent via text message or email to your phone.  These are sent within minutes of you finishing the race.  Results can also be checked at our TIMING AND RESULTS tent near the finish line.  Awards can be claimed from the AWARDS Tent.   Overall and Age Group Awards will not be shipped post-race.

 

Kaiser Permanente Corporate Cup – Most Fit Company 

Kaiser Permanente will announce the four winners of the Kaiser Permanente Cup at the event’s Award Ceremony that evening.  The winners will be based on surveys submitted by companies describing their employee health and wellness programs. Enter here.  Deadline: September 9, 2024

Participation Award

Quantity is what matters!  An award will be presented to the company with the largest number of participants registered. This award is unique in that participants may be either full- or part-time employees, clients, family members or friends of the registered company. There will also be an award for the most participants in each of these 18 industry categories. Industry Participation awards will be mailed to winning Company Captains after the race.

CEO Awards

• Male and Female CEO with companies with <30 full-time employees
• Male and Female CEO with companies with 30+ full-time employees 
  

 

T-shirt Design Contest Awards

There will be a T-shirt Design Contest for all participating companies. One prize will be awarded in each of the following categories:

• Most Original
• Most Colorful
• Most Creative Use of Company Logo
• Best Incorporation of Event Logo

To participate in the T-shirt Design Contest, Team Captains must submit a sample (printouts not accepted) of your company’s T-shirt to Kaiser Permanente Run, Walk, & Roll, 3736 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 no later than September 9, 2024, 5 PM EST.  Please attach a business card from your company to the inside collar label of your T-shirt for identification. 

T-shirts will be judged prior to race day and announced on race day. Please note: once T-shirts are submitted, they become the property of the Race Committee and will be donated to a local charity that supports the sport of running/walking. The Jerry Dubner PWC Team Captain Award

In honor of our long-time team captain, Jerry Dubner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Jerry Dubner Award recognizes leadership & commitment incorporating wellness through their employer. This award winner will be selected by the KP Run, Walk & Roll Race Committee.
