What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual option for a walking/running/rolling event means that participants can use a course of their choice to cover the distance of the 5K event and receive the same T-shirt and medal as if doing the actual event.  Each registered person will receive their SWAG items within 1-2 weeks after the event, mailed out via the USPS direct to the individual.

A virtual option allows individuals in different locations to train for the same event and support one another.  Fitness activities lead to team building for companies and organizations using the Let's Move Training Program.  This program is available to everyone who enters the Kaiser Permanente 5K. 

Individuals have a guide to get in shape and invite relatives and friends to use the same exercises. Those on a team can stay connected and supported during the training period—and come together for a celebration of accomplishment outside the planned event at Piedmont Park if they choose.

Everyone is encouraged to complete their 5K on or around the actual event date of Wednesday, September 25, 2024.  Join the virtual fun by sharing your photos – along your route and/or at your virtual finish line – on social media with the hashtag #kprunwalkroll.

Virtual Race Information

• Your Official Swag (T-shirt and Medal) will ship the week of September 30th. Be on the lookout! 
• Printing your personalized Virtual Race Number (optional) 
  • Log into RunSignUp.com 
  • Once logged in, click on the circle in the upper right (to the right of the search bar.) On the drop down menu, choose Profile.
  • Scroll down to Upcoming Events.
  • Select Events, Kaiser Permanente Run, Walk & Roll Virtual 5K
  • On the right side will be a link to: View Virtual Bib. Print!
• Entering your Virtual Results (optional)
  • Click on this link:  https://runsignup.com/Race/Results/2750#resultSetId-401726;perpage:100
  • Click on "Submit Virtual Results" near the top.
  • Search your name and then enter your time. 
  • There will be a short delay before your results show up on the leaderboard.
