PRE-RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP

Piedmont Park: Oak Hill
Date: Wednesday, September 25
Hours: 5:00pm - 6:30pm

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO PICK UP MY PACKET?

Every participant will receive a confirmation email the week of the race.  
Please bring either that email, or your original confirmation email and your photo ID to pick up your packet.
Digital copies (your cell phone screen) are allowed.

 

CAN I AUTHORIZE ANOTHER PERSON TO PICK UP MY RACE PACKET?

If you are unable to get your packet, a friend can pick up your packet with a copy of your photo ID or a copy of your registration confirmation.

Transportation and Parking

Participants should plan for congestion, and aim to arrive no later than 6:00 to allow time for parking and walking to the event.

TEAM LOAD-IN SCHEDULE
(Team Village walk-thru available Tuesday, 9/24 11:30am)

  • Starts at 3:00pm.  Race Crew will be available between 3pm and 6pm to assist teams in getting to their tents.  

  • 3pm - 4:45 pm: Unloading at the Tavern Parking Lot.  Must have a parking pass to park a team car in the Tavern Parking Lot.  See info two below.

  • 5pm - 6:00 pm Team Captains can unload at 10th Street at Charles Allen Drive, then park, and return to move items to their tent

  • Team Captain Parking: Each team will be issued one parking pass.  Parking will be behind Park Tavern. This will be emailed to the Team Captains

  • Teams are encouraged to bring wagons to help haul tent items

  • Teams that require help for load-in need to arrive at Charles Allen Drive no later than 5:45 pm.

Food and Beverages for Race Day

  • Louisiana Jambalaya: A serving will be provided to each race participant.

  • Additional Food/Beverages: Participants and teams are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy at the Post Race After Party

  • Ice: Ice is available for pre-purchase.  This is found online in the Team Captain's Store. Ice can also be purchased onsite. Credit Cards accepted - no cash.

  • No On-Site Food Purchase: There will not  be any additional food available for purchase at the event.

  • Jason's Deli Pre-Orders:: Jason's Deli is offering pre-orders for participants and teams.

    Pickup: Team orders will be delivered to the tents, unless otherwise specified by Jason's Deli, please contact Bill Curtain for more information.  bill.curtin@jasonsdeli.com

Tent and Space Rentals

Tents and space rental for a tent can be found in the Team Captain store under their team's page..  Tents, space, and ice can be purchased through the Captain's Store.  The deadline to place orders is 11:59pm  August 30, 2024
